About…AMRTHAVARSHINI

Amrithavarshini is meant to help  the Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) affected people in Kerala. Living with a lifelong health condition like OI is stressful at times. Many people with OI and their families cope very well with both the physical and the social/emotional problems associated with OI. In kerala we came across a lot of children who were suffering from this disability and in order to help  them in a better way we have found this community  for the children  in the name “Amrthavarshini”. Now  our family is increasing day by day by joining more and more coming up.  We like to have children from all over the world .In our family all children are THE BOSS.The children are the  founders and builders of our community. They can communicate each other through email and cell and share their  kindness…They can help each other in sorrow and happiness.

Amrthavarshini Aims,
Finding a legitimate work at home job is harder than finding a traditional job. First of all, despite all the illness these children are very active, confident and positive in approach. They all feel that if they were trained to do some work, they can stand in their on feet .So we are trying to get some sponsors  who can train them in the field of knife coring in oil painting , pot painting, jewelry making, candle making, paper carry bags etc. The parents of those children who are completely bedridden may also  be given training on behalf of their  children.

We like to stimulate their creative abilities  of these OI affected children. They can send their  creations like drawings, poems, short stories etc to the email written below. Inviting your support and appreciation…

THANKS AND BEST REGARDS,

AMRTHAVARSHINI

Being a brother of an OI ‘vayadi’ kid I was elated when I saw amrthavarshini. As I browsed through the website I had so many words to thanks the creator of amrthavarshini, but when I started keying in words as comments I am running short of words to express my feelings.

To all the creators of amrthavarshini—Hats off!!!

Always open to help amrthavarshini in what ever ways I can …….

To all the OI kids out there you have a new brother and sister ( my wife ) to look upon.

    Thanks
    Rajesh

  10. It is great initiative. My salutations. Right now I am also under stress. My wife got her thigh bone fractured. She was operated upon and a plate was implanted some 5 months back. She started walking with the help of a walker but unfortunately the implanted plate got broken. She is on bed with a “Thomas splint”.

Dear Everyone at Amritavarshini , Its a great feeling to know about Amritavarshini and the minda behind the formation of this great platorm to support the needy.Heartfelt salute to everyone who worked behind directly and indirectly to build this stage.Had read about one Sindhu teacher from Thiruvalla in malayalam magazine Grihalakshmi August 2010 edition – Page40 karunyam nombarangalil oru thaangu.I felt people like Sindhu Teacher could be a great motivator for a noble deed which is aimed by Amritavarshini.Moderators pls check possibilities and advantages of associating with such great hearts for more success to Amritavarshini.
With best wishes and support for the noble deed to bring back OI people into mainframe.

its simply great. Now a days the word “GREAT”do not carry a meaning. but some thing like this are those rarest occasion where we actually find the meaning of greatness.hats off to the creators of amritha varshini.let tell something personal;i am one of the friends of athulya, our little boss and motivator, and i am lucky enough to visit her at home and talk to her many time. at times of big troubles and confusion i used to recall her voice and her ways of reaction which suddenly transmit enormous amount of energy.there are so many other children around us who has struck with these type of challenges.i hope we people can do lot to them.
let me leave for the time being
    will come soon
    regards ,
